She earned her Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from the University of Rhode Island and later obtained her Associate of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science from Bristol Community College. She enjoys education and outreach for the Medical Laboratory Science profession and is currently volunteering as a Subject Matter Expert with AMT on the EQS exam committee, or more specifically, the Hematology subcommittee. Additionally, she is a member of the ASCLS P.A.C.E. committee, reviewing continuing education resources.
