How do I create an account? (only for new users of the AMT Learning Center)

  • Register for an AMT Account and ID# Select Here
  • After registration return to the AMT Learning Center
  • Click “Register” found on the top right corner of the home page.
  • Complete the form to create a new account.
  • Required Information 
    • AMT ID Number
    • Email Address (please use the same email as AMT account)
    • First name 
    • Last name
  • Reminder(s):
    • Create only one account in the AMT Learning Center
    • Please make sure that your AMT ID# and email match exactly for both the AMT Site and AMT Learning Center. Inaccurate information could result in CE tracking or Practice Exam access issues.

How do I log into my account?

  • Navigate to amtlearning.americanmedtech.org
  • Click on the "Log in" link in the upper-right corner of the screen.
  • Enter your AMT email and password.
  • Click the "Log in" button.

My Account Features

  • Enrolled Courses - course listing of not started/in progress courses
  • Transcript - listing of completed courses
  • Bookmarks - listing of courses bookmarked for future purchase
  • Orders & Receipts - listing of all AMT Learning Center purchases

How do I edit my account?

  • Click on “My Account” in the top banner on the right.
  • Once on the “My Account” page, click the “Edit” tab to make updates or changes.

Forgotten Username / Password

How do I reset my password?

  • Follow the prompt “Have you forgotten your password?” given when the incorrect password is entered, OR
  • Click on “Log in” and click on “Forgot password?”
  • Important: changing your password will only update for the AMT Learning Center.

Purchase a Course

How do I purchase a course?

  • Use the “Catalog” or search bar to find a course.
  • Click on the course and then click on the “Register” tab.
  • Select "Add to cart".
  • Enter payment information and submit.
  • You will receive an enrollment email when the course is ready.

How do I apply a discount coupon code?

  • Enter coupon code in cart then select apply
  • Discounts will be applied to all eligible products after applying

How do I search for courses in my specialty?

  • Utilize the "Refine by" options in the catalog search.

Certificates / Transcripts / Credits

How do I download my transcript?

  • Select the “My Account” tab and click on "Transcript".
  • Download a PDF of completed, pending, or external credit activities.

How can I download a certificate?

  • Under the “My Account” tab click on “Transcript”.
  • Click “Certificate” for any course as appropriate.

Tracking Credits

  • Credits earned through successful completion of Learning Center courses are automatically applied to AMTrax.
  • Do not self-report earned Learning Center credit. 

Course Information

Will a course save my progress if I need to step away and return to it later?

  • Yes, it will automatically save your progress.

Will a quiz/evaluation save my progress if I need to step away and return to it later?

  • Quizzes/Evaluations will not save your progress unless you click the “Save Progress” option.

How do I return to a course I’ve already registered for and resume it?

  • Under the “My Account” tab click on “Enrolled Courses”.
  • Click the course as appropriate.
  • Click “Take course”.
  • Click “Resume course”.

Which browser should I use for the AMT Learning Center website?

  • AMT Learning Center works with most modern web browsers 
  • Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari (Mac)

Do I need to have Adobe Reader to participate in a course?

  • A PDF reader, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader, will be required to participate in some courses.
